Jenna Young was a wonderful, beautiful young lady whose happy and energetic life was cut tragically short. She was going to college in San Antonio, and although she wasn't sure of her plans for the future, she did speak often of becoming a hair-dresser. She had the unusual trait of having a beautiful and friendly personality to match her outward beauty as well. Jenna was forever the Aunt who doted over her little niece Reagan. Many of the pictures they had displayed were of Jenna - holding and playing with Reagan. She was as proud as anyone could be. You could tell by the way Jenna looked at her, how her face just seemed to light up - that she loved Reagan as much as anyone else in this world. We are all very saddened by the loss of Jenna. The people who had the priveledge to know her will have a large empty space in their lives. We wish our condolences for her sister Crystal, who has lost not only the love of her life in Eric, but also a dear sister in Jenna. We also wish for God's comfort to be on you - her family during the days and years ahead. Jenna arrived Friday night November 4th, 2005 during the Rotan-Hamlin game, which would be the last of Rotan's Varsity football season. She had just traveled from San Antonio, and sat beside my wife Teresa and I. Jenna and Teresa visited the rest of the game, we had some good laughs together and learned a lot about her in the short time we had. She was definitely a spirited and happy person who had a funny sense of humor about her. From the times when she had sat with us at the games, we felt we had a true friend in Jenna. I think everyone that came in contact with her felt the same. There is a website Crystal has set up in her honor on Myspace HERE. Sorry, [Myspace] is not Mobile-Friendly (yet). |
