• Oye Como Va followed by La Virgen de Macarena HHS Band - Spring Concert 1980 - The percussion is deafening.
• America - HHS Band, same tape as Spring Concert 1980. This is a fantasy-take on the original, really good.
• Evergreen - This rendition is actually pretty nice, if you're in the easy-listening mood and can get the radio version out of your mind.
• Eagle Squadron - A good solid march, HHS Band.
• Satiric Dances - The best and most difficult to perform concert piece ever, HHS Band.

The school year 1980-81 saw the creation of the "Lab Band", or Stage Band.
Band Director Johnny Martinez spent a lot of hours teaching us some of the finer in's and out's of music.
It was really fun to have two hours of Band my Senior year. Really enjoyed it a lot!
This tape was recorded during 1980 or 1981 during what I believe was a Chamber of Commerce Banquet in Hondo.
